US Jails Man in $1.4M Crypto Influencer Scam | Fake Telegram Staking Fraud Exposed #breakingnewsA New York man, Noman Saleem, has been sentenced to 15 months in prison for running a $1.4 million crypto scam involving fake influencer identities and fraudulent staking schemes on Telegram. Between 2020 and 2021, the accused created fake VIP groups, impersonated well-known crypto influencers, and convinced victims to invest cryptocurrency in fake staking programs promising high returns. Authorities confirmed that no real staking or investment activity ever took place, and funds were directly transferred into wallets controlled by the scammer. This case highlights the growing threat of crypto fraud, influencer impersonation scams, and social engineering attacks in the digital asset space.
