   The recent sell off and drop in prices are now attributed to the theft of
   19,000 bitcoins, and the thieves subsequently dumping the stolen bitcoins
   on the market.

   This shows that just 19k (5 million US dollars in bitcoin value) is enough
   to move the markets…

   Bitcoin charts were the first to break the news, followed by reports posted
   to bitcoin forums

   Bitcoin news feeds were a few days behind before reporting the reason why
   bitcoins have been going down at the beginning of 2015.

   When trading bitcoins you can expect the market will move before the news
   gets out – in other words, the market will do the unexpectable and your
   trading methods have to provide for that.

   This is why Rule #1 (assume you are wrong unless you are proven correct) is
   so important in risk control when you put on a trade in these kind of
   volatile and unknown markets.

   However, once you have been proven correct, then it’s time to consider
   using Rule #2 and adding to the trade.
