both gamemodes have their uses i like to build things in survival for the
sense of achievement however without creative what we could create would be
so limited. think a out it! no command blocks, no crazy redstone, no epic
and ott builds!

Mostly what paul said. I use survival for playing the game and creative to
quickly design things I want to build in survival. Creative is also great
for ops on servers to do colabs for server builds like a spawn town etc.
