Bitcoin Merchant Nightmare – Fees Ate my Profits!

I got a notification this morning that a customer “underpaid” a merchant. I went to their store to go check it out. They thought the customer only underpaid by about $0.04 — which is true, but in reality, the merchant only got about $3.00 of purchasing power from an item that should have given him $5.00. That’s a serious cut into profits. I had him ring me up for $5.00 of Dash and then looked in his wallet. He received $5.00. We at Anypay have to find a better way to make BTC work for merchants. Because customers want to use it, and they expect that they are giving the merchant full value. But clearly that’s not happening.
