There were plans to repatriate Belgiums gold from the London vaults but the
chairman of the Belgian central bank decided not to repatriate the gold. He
claims that Belgium has not the means to store such an amount of gold
safely. (that’s bogus ofcourse) The Belgian gold stays in London (IF it is
really there – most likely there is a lot of gold in the vaults but there
are even more countries who claim to be the owners !) Greetings from

The latest I’ve heard is Finland want theirs returned.
