SC rejects Bhardwaj's lower deposit plea in Rs.2,000-cr Bitcoin scam

The Supreme Court on Friday rejected the application by Amit Bhardwaj, main accused in a Rs.2,000-crore Bitcoin Ponzi scheme, seeking to submit a lower deposit of Rs.2 crore. In April, the apex court had granted bail to Bhardwaj on the condition that he deposits Rs.10 crore by October 2.
