This week Taiwan-based smartphone creator HTC unveiled its new smartphone, Exodus 1. It can only be purchased with bitcoin or ethereum. Right now the phone can only be pre-ordered. Shipping will not begin before December. The phone will cost around 0.15 BTC, or 4.78 ETH, which is currently around $1,000. Exodus 1 will also have its own crypto wallet called Zion. This will allow it to serve as a hardware wallet as well. It can also store users’ cryptocurrency keys, and keep them protected from the rest of the operating system.
