This is episode #006 of the Patrick Wagner show is about the recent cyber attacks (DDOS) on bitcoin exchanges over the last week, as the outages affect Bitfinex and BTC-e. Other outages occurred in the crypto-currency space as big volume trading occurred this week when bitcoin price topped $3000 and corrected down to $2200. With many outages, users found it difficult to trade or exit cryptocurrency position this week during the correction. We are still waiting on news of the source of these attacks to better understand their intent. The good news is no client funds were affected by these cyber attacks or outages.
