The value of cryptocurrencies have been surging since Donald Trump’s US election victory last week. Bitcoin has now broken into new territory, heading towards $90,000 a token. Other cryptocurrencies, including dogecoin – which has been promoted by high-profile Trump supporter Elon Musk – are also making gains.
