Price of Bitcoin as of 12.50pm EDT $8,416 Today Bitcoin managed to reach $8,300 again. This day last year bitcoin was only around $6,500. This week Bakkt announced a launch date for bitcoin futures testing. On July 22nd, Bakkt will initiate user acceptance testing for its bitcoin futures listed and traded at ICE Futures U.S. and cleared at ICE Clear US. This week we saw the price of Litecoin hit its highest level in 13 months. The litecoin halving is now only 52 days away. This means that the mining reward will be halved.
