Commerce giant PayPal has named bitcoin pioneer Wences Casares to its board of directors. Casares is founder and CEO of Xapo, a leading bitcoin wallet company. Xapo allows people to buy and sell bitcoins, spend them with their online wallet or Xapo Debit Card, or store them in an insured vault that’s been called the Fort Knox of Bitcoin. Mr. Casares is a proven entrepreneur with many successful technology and financial ventures around the world.
