On December 11, 2017 the CME will introduce Bitcoin Futures on the exchange. In my opinion they will fail. The reasons are listed in the video from Today’s Crypto News but it is pretty simple. The reason people buy bitcoin is because Fiat money is losing confidence. Well sooner or later the Fiat money will be so worthless you won’t want settlement of your Bitcoin Futures Contract in $$, you will want the Bitcoin. Case in point.
